However, she did not attend the ceremony and did not win in any of these categories .

The night was dominated by Billie Eilish, who won all seven awards she was nominated for, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for "Hit Me Hard and Soft" . Other notable winners included Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, and BTS's 

Swift's absence and lack of wins led to disappointment among her fanbase, the Swifties, who had also hoped for an announcement regarding "Reputation (Taylor's Version)." Speculation had been rife about a potential reveal during the AMAs, but no such announcement was made .
