The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs), held on May 26 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and hosted by Jennifer Lopez, celebrated a diverse array of musical talents across genres.


 Billie Eilish emerged as the night's biggest winner, securing seven awards, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for "Hit Me Hard and Soft," and Song of the Year for "Birds of a Feather" .



Gracie Abrams was honored as New Artist of the Year, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career .

 In the pop categories, Bruno Mars and Billie Eilish won Favorite Male and Female Pop Artist, respectively, with Eilish also taking home Favorite Pop Album and Favorite Pop Song .


The country music categories saw Beyoncé making history by winning Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album for "Cowboy Carter," while Post Malone secured Favorite Male Country Artist and Favorite Country Song for "I Had Some Help" featuring Morgan Wallen .


In R&B, SZA's "Saturn" was named Favorite R&B Song, and The Weeknd and SZA won Favorite Male and Female R&B Artist, respectively . 



Eminem was recognized as Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist, and Megan Thee Stallion won Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist .


The Collaboration of the Year and Favorite Music Video awards went to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars for "Die With A Smile" . In the Latin categories, Bad Bunny won Favorite Male Latin Artist and Favorite Latin Album for "Debí Tirar Más Fotos," while Becky G was named Favorite Female Latin Artist, and Shakira's "Puntería" won Favorite Latin Song .



Special honors were bestowed upon Janet Jackson, who received the Icon Award, and Rod Stewart, who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award .


The 2025 AMAs highlighted both established icons and emerging talents, reflecting the dynamic and evolving landscape of the music industry.
