Sunny Deol's latest action thriller, Jaat, premiered on April 10, 2025, and has garnered a noteworthy opening at the box office. The film amassed approximately ₹6.93 crore net in India on its first day.  This performance positions Jaat as Sunny Deol's second-highest opening, trailing only behind his previous blockbuster, Gadar 2. 

The movie experienced an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 12.49% on its opening day. Morning shows recorded a 9.56% occupancy, which increased to 15.41% during afternoon screenings. Notably, regions such as Jaipur and the National Capital Region (NCR) reported higher occupancy rates, with Jaipur reaching up to 29.5%. ​​

While Jaat has made a solid start, its opening day earnings are modest compared to recent releases like Salman Khan's Sikandar, which debuted with ₹30.06 crore.  Nonetheless, with the upcoming weekend and positive word-of-mouth, Jaat has the potential to witness growth in its box office performance.​
