Sikandar "box office Collection Day 1,Day 2

"Sikandar "box office Collection Day 1,Day 2

Salman Khan's latest film, Sikandar, has experienced a moderate performance at the box office over its initial two days. The movie debuted on Sunday, March 30, 2025, earning approximately ₹26 crore on its opening day. This figure was considered below expectations for a Salman Khan Eid release, as trade analysts had anticipated an opening in the range of ₹40-50 crore.

On its second day, coinciding with the Eid holiday, Sikandar saw a slight increase in collections, garnering around ₹29 crore. This brought the total domestic earnings to ₹55 crore over the two-day period.  Despite the festive occasion, the growth was minimal, and the film's performance has been described as lukewarm.

The film's occupancy rates on Monday reflected modest audience engagement, with an overall Hindi occupancy of 24.60%. Morning shows recorded an 8.38% occupancy, which improved to 26.70% in the afternoon, 30.18% in the evening, and peaked at 33.12% during night shows.

Sikandar is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and features Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles alongside Salman Khan. The film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, with some pointing to a weak screenplay and lackluster direction as contributing factors to its underwhelming box office performance.

In comparison to other recent releases, Sikandar has faced stiff competition. For instance, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava opened earlier this year with a domestic collection of ₹31 crore, surpassing Sikandar's opening figures.  Additionally, the film is contending with regional releases like Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan, which have also captured audience interest.

Overall, while Sikandar has managed to cross the ₹50 crore mark within two days, its performance has not met the high expectations typically associated with Salman Khan's Eid releases. The coming days will be crucial in determining the film's trajectory at the box office.
