In her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, Meghan Markle revealed an unconventional tip for achieving fluffier scrambled eggs: adding a splash of cold sparkling water to the beaten eggs before cooking. She explained that this technique helps the eggs rise and become fluffier with just a tiny splash of sparkling water. 




This revelation has sparked mixed reactions online. Some cooking enthusiasts are eager to try the method, with one person stating, "Meghan Markle adds sparkling water to her eggs to make them fluffy, so now I add sparkling water to my eggs to make them fluffy." Conversely, others are skeptical, labeling the idea as "ridiculous" and questioning the necessity of adding water to scrambled eggs. 



Culinary experts have weighed in on the technique. Chef William Dissen from The Market Place restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina, explained that the carbonation in sparkling water introduces additional air into the eggs, resulting in a lighter, fluffier scramble. He noted that when the water and eggs hit the pan, the sparkling water bubbles expand, creating the fluffiest, lightest eggs. 



While some chefs advise against adding milk to scrambled eggs, as it can dilute the flavor and make them rubbery, the use of sparkling water offers an alternative approach to achieving a desirable texture.
