Princess Rym Ali is a prominent Jordanian royal, journalist, and media figure. She is the wife of Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, the half-brother of King Abdullah II of Jordan. Born in 1969 in Algeria, she has a background in journalism and international relations.

Before joining the Jordanian royal family, Princess Rym had a distinguished career as a journalist, working with international media outlets such as CNN, BBC, and France 3. She covered significant global events, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa.

In Jordan, she is best known for her contributions to media education. She founded the Jordan Media Institute (JMI) in 2006, a non-profit educational institution dedicated to improving journalism standards in the Arab world through training and higher education programs.

Princess Rym holds degrees from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is recognized for her efforts in promoting press freedom, media development, and education in Jordan and beyond.
